IHC McCORMICK DEERING 15-30 Farm Tractor Brass Carburetor Hit Miss Engine Motor

This is an original brass carburetor for an International Harvester McCormick Deering 15-30 or 22-36 farm tractor. It is in good, as found condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of except for a little solder on the copper tube and throttle shaft housing which is quite common on these carburetors. Everything moves as it should and with a little effort I believe this carburetor should be ready to be used on an engine or put in your inventory as a spare. There is some wear on the throttle shaft but I think it would work ok. The choke shaft has very minor wear. It mounts with two holes 3 5/16 inches apart on center. The hole in the mounting flange is 1 5/8″ in diameter and the intake hole is about 1 3/4″ in diameter. These original 15-30 carburetors are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you’ve been looking for one to complete a restoration or to replace your broken or repaired one here may be a better one. The pictures tell the story. This is a rather hard to find original International Harvester brass carburetor for an International Harvester McCormick Deering Farmall Regular or 10-20 tractor, or P-20 power unit. It is fresh from an old collectors estate where it lived on a shelf in the shop for many years. It is stamped FARM on the boss but is also the same for the P-20 power units or 10-20 tractors. It mounts with three holes on a triangular pattern. The intake hole is 1 9/16 inches in diameter and the hole where it mounts is 1 3/8 inches in diameter. Everything moves as it should. The throttle shaft has some very mild wear and the choke shaft has very little wear. Everything that is supposed to move does so as it should. The only thing I see that needs to be replaced is the bottom nut on the stem which should be very straightforward. After just a little cleaning and possibly some new gaskets I think this carburetor would be ready to be used on a tractor or put on your shelf for your next project. These original brass carburetors are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if youve been looking for one for an authentic restoration heres a very nice one.
