Here’s your chance to get a 1 of 1 International Harvester corporation/company hand made toolbox. This was made in the 40’s best guess by my father who worked for an International Harvester implement dealer in Minnesota, and made it for tractors and tried to get IH to mass produced them but had no luck. This is solid metal, and built by a kid in shop class in high school. So welds are crude and it’s not perfect, but honestly very cool and best part, there’s only one! 21 pounds so it’s heavy and well built! If I don’t get top dollar for it, I’ll keep it. Could also be considered folk art.
A very kind eBayer wrote to tell us. Your excellent RPPC depicts an early International Harvester tractor driving a stationary hay baler. Stationary meaning you bring the cut hay to the parked baler rather than towing the baler around in the hay field. You can see the square bales being formed inside the baler. If I had to guess, I say that a farm machinery dealer commissioned this RPPC as an advertisement to send to a few potential customers. So apparently nothing to do with rock crushing though someone wrote that on the back. Please examine the images carefully as the photos are our best description. We’re always happy to try to answer questions about condition. NOTE: We sometimes heavily watermark to protect our photos and the card images for the benefit of our customers.
