UPDATE: I have been informed this is a “swath board” from a Harvester Finger mower. Here we have a wonderful antique/vintage display piece from a “International Harvester”. It’s made from wood with a metal plate attached and is almost like a propeller blade in terms of shape and size. It has a lovely vibrant red, original painted finish with strong branding. It reads Mc Cormick International, International Harvester Company Of Great Britain Ltd. I would think this dates from somewhere between 1930-60. A great piece of agricultural history that would make a wonderful piece in the corner of a room, mounted on a wall or above a doorway/entrance in a country farmhouse, pub or agricultural museum. It’s approximately 4ft 2 inches; it’s 49.75 inches by 7.75 inches by 3 inches and weighs over 3.5kg’s. This is the only one you’ll ever see I’m sure so get it while you can!
