Offered for sale is a used, Vintage 1948 Design Fabricators 1:16th Scale 1947 Farmall “Cub” Tractor. This originally came as a plastic kit from Design Fabricators (Reuhl) intended to be assembled and disassembled. This is a very rare toy that is fragile. This vintage Farmall Cub is used and has been repaired. The tie rod, steering column & support, steering wheel, muffler and air breather have been replaced. This tractor is considered a display only collector’s item. Please look carefully at the pictures for additional details concerning condition. I sell all items as is. The actual 12 horsepower tractor was produced by Farmall (Part of International Harvester) from 1947 to 1964 at the Louisville, Kentucky factory. The Cub featured IH’s “Cultivision” offset engine and steering. Three major series of the original Cub were built: the Farmall Cub until 1964 (sn 224703), the International Cub until 1975 (sn 248124), and the new International Cub until the end of production in 1979. This is a very nice older, diecast metal replica that would make a great gift or awesome addition to any collection/display.
