A great piece of farming machinery history. Condition: Internally spine and binding are in good condition, which is of primary importance with vintage books. Externally spine is in almost good condition. Cloth on spine has frayed and small splits down top and bottom of spine, approx 3cm and 1 cm. Overall / as a whole, book is in acceptable condition. Considerable wear to edge of covers. Three vintage foldouts/brochures have been pasted into book (see photos), on pages 311, 327 and 373. The brochure on page 327 covers Silver’s “Ohio” light draft suction blower, Monarch blowerSilo Fillers – Cylinder type, feed cutters and metal bucket chain elevators. Endpapers have bookplate of previous owner in chinese figures and a chinese stamp on FFEP. There is also a Chinese paper stamp adhered to front of the fold out vintage brochure that has been tipped into the book. Some marks to boards especially back cover. Please note that page 316 and 317 is stuck together. Please note also that page 329 has been removed. Pages 36/ 37, 38/39 removed and 335 and 340 stuck together. As with pages 304/5 and 306/7 which have been removed and page303 and 308 stuck together. Horizontal tear of aprox 6cm across page 311 below where one of pamphlets has been pasted.
