ONE OF A REBUILD INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER MAGNETO. THIS IS A H4 MAGNETO. THIS MAGNETO WAS COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLED. ALL PARTS WERE CLEANED. BEARINGS ON SHAFT WERE PACKED WITH PROPER AMOUNT OF LUBE AND INSTALLED INTO HOUSING. WAS INSTALLED WITH NEW COIL, CONDENSER, AND POINTS. FRONT IMPULSE COUPLER WAS REMOVED, CLEANED, LUBED AND INSTALLED. TOP COVER AND DISTRIBUTOR CAP WERE REPLACED. WAS ASSEMBLED WITH NEW GASKETS. WAS TEST RUN ON TEST BENCH. IMPULSE WORKS AND SPARK JUMPS 3/8 AT IMPULSE SPEED. RUN SPEED TESTED GOOD SPARK JUMPED 7/16 AND RUN TIMING WAS CHECKED AND IS AT 35 DEGREES ADVANCE AS BOOK SPECKS GIVEN FOR THIS MAGNETO. THIS MAGNETO WAS REBUILT IN OUR TRACTOR RESTORATION AND REPAIR SHOP BY ONE OF OUR PROFESSIONAL MECHANICS. MAGNETO WILL NEED TO BE IN REBUILD ABLE CONDITION. YOU THEN CAN PUT YOUR CORE IN THE BOX AND ATTACH LABEL AND SEN IT TO US, OR IF YOU WANT PUT OURS TO THE TEST AND IF YOU DONT LIKE IT USE THE LABEL TO SEND THIS ONE BACK TO US. International Harvester H4 Magneto S/N H4 485598. This magneto has over an hour of test time on our magneto testing. Dissembled, Cleaned inside and out, see pictures. Complete tuneup, all parts inspected. Magnet recharged and tested. Coil tested for arc and heat. Bearings Cleaned / Packed / inspected. New internal wiring harness. (properly soldered / not crimped). Nice oil cups / new at impulse. New Impulse coupling spring internal oil wick. Nice impulse butterfly springs. New rear main seal. New oil gallery filter/wick. All new screws, inside and out. Comes with new mounting gasket. More than 50 new parts installed. Strong Impulse, rebuilt and tested for “Kickout”. Ready to bolt on and use. Produces a very nice spark. This is a VERY hard to find original magneto bracket for an International Harvester Titan 10-20 tractor. It is in as found, used condition. It mounts on a 2 3/4 x 5 inch hole pattern and the magneto mounts to it on a 2 inch square pattern. It is part number 1795 TM and is in excellent used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. These original IHC Titan parts are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if youve been looking for one for an authentic restoration heres a real nice one.
