It has the remainder of a sending unit which can be left in it to block it off, or you can put a plug type fitting in the hole, if not using a sending unit with the filter. No tears or rips in the brass screen. I dont have an IH Part # for the screen itself but the kit part # with cap screws and washers is 355844R91.
