This sale is for a rebuilt International Harvester F-6 magneto. This mag has been taken completely apart sonic and bead blast cleaned. Blown out, taps ran into all tapped holes. New coil, points, condenser, rotor brush, rotor distributor block, advance arm/point cover installed and armature end play adjusted as needed and magnet charged. This is a very nice original International Harvester F4 magneto as used on several earlier International Harvester McCormick Deering tractors and power units. It should be correct for the F12, F14, F20, F30, W12, W14, W30, I12 I14, and possibly others but please do your homework to be sure it is correct for your application. It is fresh from an old collectors estate where it lived on a shelf for many years. It is in great condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of. It mounts on a 2 inch square hole pattern and the threads are in perfect shape. It is clockwise rotation and turns over nicely with no noticeable bearing wear or noise. The impulse needs a new spring as far as I can tell. Everything inside the points cover is in real nice shape. It has excellent, hot spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. Take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. These magnetos in this condition are tough to find and after the replacement of the impulse spring should be ready to go to work for you! International Harvester Model IHJ4 magneto serial #J4079632, flange mount 4 cylinder CW rotation. This is a rare hard to find magneto because it is only used on the Int Cub tractor. All the other lettered series Int tractors from the Int A to the W9 use the common Int H4 magneto. Bench tested and had an excellent spark at impulse speed and all speeds. This is an original International Harvester F6 six cylinder magneto for an old tractor. These were used on some of the early big W-Series tractors, TD crawler tractors, and possibly IHC tractor models. It is fresh from an old collection where it lived as a spare. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of other than an issue with the top oil cap which could easily be replaced. It appears to have been rebuilt some time ago and not used since. It is clockwise rotation. It mounts on a 2 x 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in great shape. It has no noticeable bearing wear and turns over very nicely with good magnetic pull and the impulse works as it should. Everything inside the points cover looks to be in great shape but it needs a shutoff contact on the inner side of the cap. It puts out a hot, snapping spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. This magneto is ready to be used on an engine or put on your shelf for a future project. A rebuilt H4 magneto for IH tractors. This is used on gas engine models. A, AV, B, BN, C, H, HV, Super HV, I4, I6, I9, M, MV, O, O4, O6, W4, W6, and Super A, AV, C, H, HV, M, MV, MTA. All magnetos were completely disassembled. All parts were cleaned and inspected. Bearings were cleaned and packed with lube. New coil was installed if old failed testing. New points, and condenser were installed. Front impulse coupler was lubed and installed. Rotor was cleaned and installed or replaced if needed. Coil cover and distributor cap were cleaned and painted, or replaced with new if defective. Was assembled with new gaskets. Was test run on bench. Impulse works properly, and sparks 5/16 at minimum-at cranking speed consistently. At run speed spark jumps minimum of 5/16 consistently, and run timing was checked at 35 degrees as the book specifies for this model magneto. Here is an IHC F4 4 Cylinder magneto. It looks to be in nice shape and seems to function just as it should. It makes a nice hot spark. If you want to talk about it 419 789 1159. Impulse seems to work as it should. 2″ x 2″ mounting pattern, the threads in those holes look great! Weighs 13-3/4 lbs before any packing material or box. I think I list items very accurately but my opinion on condition may differ from yours. I have not had most of these mags apart and may not know what the inside looks like.
